Dine out.

Q) Can: cook a five-course meal/a sandwich/boil water/don’t know how the gas works.

Gourmet scrambled eggs are about the extent of it.

Q) On weekends: work out like it’s just another day/go easy/exercise…what’s that?

Working days are tougher to adhere to a workout schedule, so I ensure I put in extra efforts on the weekend. I prefer team sports.

Q) Strictly salads and grilled chicken, or cheese/chocolate cheat for the weekend?

Preferably Japanese.

Q) Where I party.

Pretty much all of my places.

Q) A movie/book I’ve been meaning to catch up on.

Amitav Ghosh’s books.

Q) Cosmopolitan or whisky on the rocks?

At new places, I want to drink my way through the cocktail menu. At mine, its whisky on the rocks.

Q) Party till dawn or wake up for yoga at dawn?

Usually, it’s me waking up for my daughter at dawn.

Q) Books, music or movies?

I read all the time.

Q) Street food that makes my day.

Mysore masala dosa.

Q) Art house cinema or Hollywood blockbuster?

Usually blockbusters.

Q) What one thing can totally make your weekend?

Quality time with Zoe, my daughter.

Q) What one thing can break it?

Trouble at any one of the restaurants.

Q) A TV show you could watch reruns of all Sunday.

Friends, with my wife, Sabs.
