Biker killed in freak accident in Mumbai

The victim, Noor Khan, was about to overtake a stationery truck at Kashimira when the driver opened the door, flinging Khan onto the road. “Seconds later, a speeding dumper truck ran over him,” said a police officer.

A 24-year-old biker was killed in a freak accident at Mira Road on Thursday.

The victim, Noor Khan, was about to overtake a stationery truck at Kashimira when the driver opened the door, flinging Khan onto the road. “Seconds later, a speeding dumper truck ran over him,” said a police officer.

Inspector Vilas Sanap of the Kashimira police station said, “Khan was rushed to a private hospital in the vicinity, where he was declared dead after three hours.”

“We have registered a case of negligent driving against the stationary truck and dumper truck drivers, but no arrests have been made so far. Both the drivers are absconding.” said Sanap.
