They were sent to judicial custody on October 14.

“There are certain elements which need to thoroughly probed and to connect the missing dots, we will sort their custody with due permission of the MCOCA court,” said a senior police officer from Thane commissionerate.

The police are currently short on the trail to unveil the investments made by the four accused across Maharashtra and other parts of the country.

Pradeep Sharma senior police inspector from Thane Anti-Extortion Cell said, “We will take the accused’s custody in a day or two and we have also got more than two dozens complainants, out of whom three have filedFIRs and few others are scared but we have assured them of protection. We have done paper work and are waiting for court orders”.
