A 38-year-old woman was robbed of her gold chain worth 35,000 in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, by two men on a bike on Tuesday.

Sitabai Jadhav was walking alone on the road in the morning, when suddenly two men on a bike stopped next to her. The man who was riding pillion snatched the gold chain around her neck, and the duo sped away, all of which happened very quickly.

Jadhav approached the Kharghar police, who have registered a first information report (FIR) against two unidentified persons under section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

No arrests have been made so far.
