Aero Modellers’ meet at Aamby Valley

The Aamby Valley City, a three-hour drive from Mumbai, will host the sixth Annual Aero Modellers’ Meet 2010 from Thursday.
The four-day international event, featuring impressive model aircrafts including propeller planes, helicopters and jets, is also open to spot entries for a variable fee depending on the age group and category.
Radio control enthusiasts from Germany, UK, US, Bangkok and UAE are participating in the various competing categories such as Concourse de elegance (for the best looking model airplane) and the most spectacular crash.
If you do not have a model airplane to flaunt, you can simply enjoy the meet as a spectator for a nominal amount (Rs 500 onwards).
