Hindustan Times in association with Young Buzz organised yet another career counselling session for the students of the six Atomic Energy Central (AEC) Schools on Friday.

The two-hour session was held at the request of a school principal of one of the AEC schools at the Nuclear Power Corporation (NPCIL) Club at Anushakti Nagar.
“This was a very good initiative, and it I am glad that it helped more than 700 students,” said Sharad Amruti, a human resource assistant, NPCIL.
“I already knew that I want to get into engineering. But it is always helpful to know about more courses, their duration, and the best colleges to apply to. I have never had the chance to attend such a session before, and such guidance is always welcome,” said Ashwini Patil, a Class 10 student.
“Initially I was confused about which stream to choose after Class 10. But now my mind is set on commerce, and pursuing chartered accountancy later, as today I came to know exactly what the job requirements are. A lot of friends too got their doubts cleared,” said Amruta Ranade, another Class 10 student.
The counselling session was followed by a question-answer round, wherein students and parents got to interact directly with the counselor, Jenny Chettiar, and ask specific questions.
