Shakeel Shafiq Siddiqui, 23, and Sooraj Aasaram Binbansi, 19, were arrested from their residence in Goni Nagar, Andheri (East).

According to the police, Siddiqui and Binbansi had met the 17-year-old main accused, Rahul (name changed), and they had together hatched a plan to kill Agarwal.

Agarwal was beaten to death on April 17 after he had a fight with Rahul over an objectionable text message allegedly sent by the latter to Agarwal's friend a month ago.

"We are checking whether Siddiqui and Binbansi were present at the spot and physically participated in Agarwal's murder," said Mohan Waghmare, inspector.

The police said the duo would be produced before a magistrate's court on Monday.

Meanwhile, Rahul's father, who was arrested on charges of conspiracy as he allegedly asked his son's friends to bash up Agarwal without worrying about the consequences, has denied all allegations.

"The father claims that when Rahul approached him with the matter, he had asked him not to act on the issue," said Waghmare.

In all, 15 people have been arrested in the case. The police said more arrests were likely as they suspected the involvement of more persons.
