“Search operations have been on to locate the body since Wednesday morning when Rajappa Ghar, 22, told us that he, along with his accomplices, had killed Jalawadia and dumped his body in Aarey Milk colony,” said senior inspector A Peerzade from Dahisar police station.

Had the duo been arrested it would have been easier to find the body,” said an officer. “However, we cannot rule out the possibility that Jalawadia may have been unconscious, while the accused took him to be dead,” he added.

Additional Commissioner of Police (north region) Ramrao Pawar said, “Currently the accused have been booked under section 364 (kidnapping with the intention of murder) of the IPC. The section will be converted to 302 (murder) Jalawadia’s body is found.”
