Salman Khan-starrer Ready is courting controversy.

Lyricist Turkish Mohammed Azam has filed a complaint with the sessions court at Dindoshi alleging that he had penned the song Character Dheela, which has been used in the film without his permission.
He claimed he had registered the song with the writers’ association on July 30, 2007. When it was played on television as part of the film’s promotion, he sent a legal notice to those involved with Ready, which is due for release on June 3.
When Azam did not get a response to his legal notice, he filed a complaint with the court.
On Friday, the court adjourned the matter for further hearing on May 23.
