Ujwal Uke, principal secretary of women and child welfare, said a government resolution (GR) issued on July 30 asked all institutions working for childrens' welfare in the state to register online on icds.gov.in.

However, it has come to our notice that many institutions have not followed the directive, Uke said.

He said it is mandatory for all institutions who run residential and non-residential childrens' homes to register themselves again.

"Those who do not comply will face legal action," he said.
