After railways, now get ready for a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus waiting list.

MSRTC, the country’s second largest public transport undertaking, has upgraded its website and started booking tickets online like railway tickets.
Booking for all kinds of State Transport buses can be done on the Internet and more than 5,000 services across the state can be booked online.
Tickets can be booked 30 days in advance during the festival season.
The new-look website comes with English and Marathi language options and displays the seat number and location of the seat booked.
Brainchild of MSRTC Vice Chairman and Managing Director Deepak Kapoor, the website, www.msrtc.gov.in, until recently, had online booking only for specific buses.
An upgraded version was inaugurated by MSRTC chairman Sudhakar Paricharak on Wednesday.
The transport corporation is also looking at ways to generate more revenue.
The undertaking has sprawling plots of land in Mumbai Central, Parel and Kurla (Nehru Nagar) and is contemplating earning additional revenue through them.
It has sought help from consultants to suggest financial options.
