I'm a pure Dilliwaali, says singer Akriti Kakkar

The artiste, known for hits such as Saturday Saturday (Humpty Sharma ki Dulhaniya, 2014) and Iski Uski (2 States), says she is a Delhiite at heart. "I am from Rajinder Nagar and had to shift to Mumbai for work but I just love Delhi and I'm a pure Dilliwaali at heart. Whenever I am in the Capital, visiting places like Khan Market, Dilli Haat, Rajouri Garden with my school friends is a must," says Akriti.

"I love to pick up handicrafts and other things from cottage industries and for that, I think Delhi Haat is just the right place. Also, the food one gets from various states across India is amazing," says the 28-year-old. Akriti adds, "My extended family members also live in Delhi, so it's always good to be back to the place where I spent my childhood."
