Acting on a tip-off, a police team from Patrakar Nagar police station rushed to Hanuman Nagar and arrested Ajay Kumar alias Abhay Kumar alias Vijay Singh Rathore when he was waiting to collect money from a man in the name of providing a job. The police team nabbed Ajay with a fake CBI identity card, said a police officer. A stolen motorcycle, money and other incriminating documents were also recovered from his possession, said Patrakar Nagar SHO Sanjeev Shekhar Jha. One Deenanath had lodged a case against Ajay in this regard following which police constituted a team and arrested him, the SHO said.

The arrested person is being interrogated, he said. gIt is strange how he managed to get an identity card of a premier investing agency. We will try to find out how long he had been into cheating people,h the SHO added.
