The body of the man was found at Jhargram town in West Midnapore district. In Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district, the rebels blew up the track between Siho and Dholi stations on the Muzaffarpur-Samastipur route.

Witnesses said 30 to 40 armed guerrillas of the banned Communist Party of India (Maoist) planted a bomb and damaged the track.
