Photos: Delhi charts Covid-19 plan after meeting with Amit Shah
Several decisions emerged concerning Delhi’s handling of the Covid-19 crisis and the way forward, following key meetings between Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Lt Governor Anil Baijal on June 14. An aggressive testing strategy, comprehensive door-to-door survey in containment zones for contact tracing, and the promise of 500 railway coaches with a capacity of 8,000 beds to mitigate any possible shortage of beds were among a few decisions announced by the Center for Delhi as the capital rushes to prepare for new waves of cases.
