As the trailers suggest, the film is a comic take and not a blind remake. The still here shows Ajay Devgn from a scene where he advises the gilr to stop bleeding from his hand and says, "Arre 1983 Hai Yaar, Pallu Faado Aur Bandh Do." (It's 1983, just tear your pallu and tie it around my hand.).
