Jammu and Kashmir's Srinagar area received heavy snowfall of up to four to five inches on Monday morning - causing disruption to the flight and rail services. The J&K administration also cancelled exams for the day in view of the heavy weather.

According to Srinagar airport director, due to continuous snowfall the visibility is only 200 meters. “All flights are delayed. To avoid inconvenience and congestion please check the status of your flight from your airlines before coming to the airport,” he said.
