People make their way as Cyclone Titli makes landfall, starting with surface winds reaching speeds of 126 kmph at Gopalpur, in Odisha. Officials on Wednesday said that more than 300,000 people have been evacuated, operations suspended at the port of Paradip and many trains and flights cancelled. Heavy police force deployed outside Hisar Jail as self-styled godman Rampal is taken to court. On Thursday, a local court in Haryana’s Hisar found Rampal guilty in two murder cases. The Enforcement Directorate said on Thursday it has attached Karti Chidambaram’s assets worth Rs 54 crore in India, the UK and Spain in connection with the INX Media money laundering case.
