Photos: Nor’easter storm blankets parts of northeastern United States

A Nor'easter storm buried parts of the Northeastern United States in snow, breaking all records in the cities and towns it hit across the region. Residents and local administration officials said that it was the fastest rate of snowfall they have ever encountered. While plough drivers struggled to clear the roads as snow piled up, many gathered in New York City’s Central Park for some sledging and snow-day activities.
