Firemen arrive to fight fire next to a mobilhome in Avinyonet de Puigventos village, near Figueras. Fire had been brought under control in some areas on the morning, but the main roads in the area, the A9 motorway and the D900, remain closed after a wildfire whipped up by strong winds in northeast Spain has left three people dead and more than 20 injured, trapping thousands of residents indoors.
