One injured in gun firing incident in Hinjewadi

A man has identified as Tushar Pisal was riding a bike when four persons on motorbikes fired at him. He was rushed to a private hospital for treatment, said Vinayak Dhakane, deputy commissioner of police, Zone-2 of Pimpri-Chinchwad police.

One man was injured in a gun firing incident in Hinjewadi, Pimpri-Chinchwad on Wednesday evening.

The injured man has identified as Tushar Pisal, according to Vinayak Dhakane, deputy commissioner of police, Zone-2 of Pimpri-Chinchwad police.

“Pisal was riding a bike when four persons on motorbikes fired at him. He was rushed to a private hospital for treatment,” said Dhakane.

“We have apprehended four suspects. However, we cannot reveal their names yet,” said Dhakane.

The incident took place at 7:30 pm at Chandani chowk, near the Pune-Mumbai Expressway in Hinjewadi.
