Deputy commissioner GK Singh said the number had been issued on the guidelines of the election commission to facilitate the voters and to provide information and address their problems regarding elections.

"Voters can take help of the number for their queries. They can also give suggestions and complain regarding the election process or a candidate and the malpractices through this number," he said, adding that they had been working for holding a free and fair election across the district.
