New release I, starring Vikram and Amy Jackson, was once offered to Evelyn.

“Yes, it is true that I had auditioned and had bagged the lead, however language barrier made me withdraw from the project. This film came to me even before I did my first film From Sydney with Love,” Evelyn said in a statement.

“I hadn’t even tried my hand in Hindi cinema so, doing a Tamil film made me very nervous and unfortunately had to let go off the project. I am definitely kicking myself to have not taken the plunge,” she added.
