Global ambitions: Aagadu to release in record number of screens in the US
Mahesh Babu-starrer Telugu actioner Aagadu will be releasing in 100 screens across north India as well, thanks to the film's distribution partner Eros International. The film also stars Tamannah Bhatia, Sonu Sood, Brahmanadam and Shruti Haasan.
Superstar Mahesh Babu-starrer Telugu actioner Aagadu will release in a staggering 159 screens in the US on Friday, says producer Anil Sunkara.
It is said to be the highest number of screens for a Telugu film.
"In a record number of 159 screens, Aagadu will be the first Telugu film to have a wide release in the US. Thanks to our distribution partner Eros International, we're releasing the film in over 100 screens in north India," said Anil Sunkara.

"It's not easy to get so many screens in the north for a Telugu film. Eros has made that possible for us and we're delighted about it," he said.
Directed by Srinu Vaitla, his second film with Mahesh, Aagadu also features Tamannah Bhatia, Sonu Sood, Brahmanadam and Shruti Haasan in important roles.
Sunkara is confident about the film's success.
