Huma Qureshi wants to increase her fan base down south
The Gangs of Wasseypur actor Huma Qureshi who is making her Malayalam film debut in White opposite Mammootty, says she is keen on increasing her fan base in the south.
Actor Huma Qureshi, known for her role in Hindi film Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), says she wants to increase her fan base in South India. The actor made her Malayalam debut with White (2016) starring opposite superstar Mammootty.

Asked if she would like to do more films in the south, Huma said: “Absolutely yes. I think I have been very lucky in that sense... I want my fan base to increase. I am glad that I am doing a South film after establishing myself in a way in Bollywood...”
The 29-year-old actor added: “Mostly actresses go there, do their films and then do their first Hindi film here (Bollywood).”
The Ek Thi Daayan star also shared that if she comes across a good script and concept she would “love” to be part of it. “I love to do (more southern films)... If it is a good script and concept I would love to do,” Huma added.
The actor will also be seen sharing screen space with her actor brother Saqib Saleem in the Hindi remake of Hollywood film Oculus.
