Ram Charan's Bruce Lee to be Tisca Chopra's first Telugu film
Actor Tisca Chopra will soon be making her Telugu film debut with Ram Charan Teja's upcoming film Bruce Lee. However, this is not Tisca's first South Indian film as she has already acted in two Malayalam films.
Bollywood actor Tisca Chopra, known for her work in films like Taare Zameen Par and TV show 24, will soon be making her Telugu film debut in Ram Charan-starrer Bruce Lee.
"Tisca plays a rich, powerful and independent woman in the film. It was director Srinu Vaitla, who has followed Tisca's work closely, decided to cast her as he felt she was apt for the role," said a source from the film's unit. Ram Charan plays a fighter in the film and even sports a tattoo of legendary martial arts artist and actor Bruce Lee.
The film, which is slated for theatrical release on October 16, stars Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Vijay and Sampath Raj among other in important roles. Bruce Lee, however, is not Tisca's first southern outing as she has already worked in two Malayalam films.
