Santhanam-starrer Dhilukku Dhuddu is a spoof on horror flicks

New Tamil film Dhilukku Dhuddu starring comedian Santhanam is a rip-tickling spoof on the horror genre.

Tamil actor Santhanam, who has for long been a comedy superstar, will soon appear in a new film Dhilukku Dhuddu as its lead star. The film reportedly is a rib-tickling spoof on the horror genre.

“In the last 12 months, Tamil cinema has seen over half a dozen horror films. The makers of Dhilukku Dhuddu didn’t want to tread on the same path and hence, decided to infuse the spoof angle in the story,” said a source from the film’s unit.

Directed by Rambala, the film’s first teaser was unveiled on Thursday. “The horror element will ensure there are occasional thrills to keep the audiences on the edge of their seats,” he said.

Also starring Saurabh Shukla, Shananya, Karunas and Rajendran, the film is produced by N Ramaswamy of Thenandal Films.
