Akshara Haasan, who was last seen in Vivegam alongside Ajith, celebrated her birthday with sister Shruti Haasan.

Akshara Haasan turned 26 on Thursday and her sister Shruti is super happy. The two celebrated the occasion together and Shruti also posted an adorable picture together. Akshara’s birthday cake also makes an appearance in the post that Shruti captioned, “Happy birthday @aksharaa.haasan have the most amazing blessed year and may all your dreams come true.”

The two of them have had some great times together and often post their moments together on Instagram. While Shruti Haasan is currently working in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi film industries, Akshara just debuted in Tamil with Ajith-starrer Vivegam. The film might have received mixed reviews from fans and critics, but Akshara’s cameo was appreciated by all. The film has, in fact, completed 50 days in 34 centers.

Akshara, who was first introduced by R Balki in Dhanush-starrer Shamitabh, has been part of a handful of films so far and there is not much news about her upcoming project. Speculations are rife that the makers are considering either Akshara or Shriya Sharma for the remake of Arjun Reddy starring Dhruv Vikram.

Akshara, who is looking out for good opportunities, is also open to working in web series. In fact, she was in talks to star in web series Social that also has Rana Daggubati in a pivotal role. However, it doesn’t look like anything materialised. The actor has said in the past that she believe that web series is going to take over the entertainment industry.
