Born on June 26, 1980, Uday Kiran was best known for his performances in Chitram and Poi among several other films. The actor was found dead in his house on Sunday.
Uday Kiran started his career with the Telugu film Chitram, directed by Teja, in 2000. The film did very well at the box office.
Soon, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor - Telugu for Nuvvu Nenu in 2001 and became the youngest winner of the Filmfare best actor award after Kamal Haasan.
was also known as Hat-trick Hero after his first three films Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu and Manasantha Nuvve set box office registers ringing with the hits.
The actor also starred in romantic films like Nee Sneham (2002) and Kalusukovalani (2002).
Kiran was engaged to Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmitha in 2003 but the engagement broke off. The couple never made official statement on the reasons for the break up.
Uday Kiran married Vishitha in October 2012.
In 2006, Uday made his Tamil début with veteran director K. Balachander's Poi. Uday had said in an interview that Balachander was a father-figure for him and the director reciprocated his feelings.
