When the games were not in play, the Queens Park Rangers' midfielder sat down to choose songs from some of his favourite artists like Matt Cardle, Coldplay, Amy Winehouse & Tony Bennett and Bombay Bicycle Club for Q Magazine's radio show.

Barton, 29, also tried his hands on the turntable by choosing three of his favourite tracks which included Nirvana's cover of David Bowie's ‘Man Who Sold The World', a track by Sheffield band The Book Club and another by Miike Snow.
