Akhil Akkineni was born in San Jose, California. He is the son of actors Nagarjuna and Amala. He pursued his career in acting at the age of 16. He did an acting course from Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. As a child artist, he was casted in his father’s production, Sisindri and Baby’s Day Out. He made his debut with the Telugu film, Akhil in 2015. He even played for the Telugu Warriors in the inaugural Celebrity Cricket League. His film, Manam won Best Film at the Filmfare Awards. He starred in commercials like Titan and Mountain Dew.
