Haryana’s minister of state for co-operation , Grover has been associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for a long time. He was the only BJP candidate to win in Rohtak district in 2014. He lost three consecutive assembly elections from Rohtak before 2014.

On the BJP’s reaction that the Congress is making excuses since it is losing in Rohtak, the former MLA said the Congress is not demanding a re-poll because the party nominee is winning comfortably.

Acting on the complaint, the police arrested Haryana minister Manish Grover’s aides Ramesh Lohar, a history-sheeter facing charges in several criminal cases, and one Sunil Kumar.

Poll officials in Rohtak prohibited the movement of Haryana BJP minister, Manish Grover after Congress candidate, Deepender Hooda accused him of booth capturing and lodged a complaint against him. Hooda, the son of former chief minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda, is seeking a fourth term from Rohtak.
