Publicly available flight data showed that the jet took off from Douglas-Charles airport in Dominica at 8.09pm local time on Thursday and was heading towards India via Madrid at the time of filing of this report.

Antigua prefers Mehul Choksi be directly repatriated to India from Dominica

Fugitive diamantaire Mehul Choksi was reported to have gone missing on May 23 from Antigua and Barbuda but was recently found in Dominica. Now, the matter of repatriation has triggered a political storm in the Caribbean island nations.
"He (Choksi) is currently in the custody of Dominica where some legal proceedings are underway. We will continue to ensure that he is brought back to India," MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said.
