The 16th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) started on March 31 with a match between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Prior to the first match of the season, a star-studded opening ceremony was held. From soulful singing of Arijit Singh to amazing dance performances by Tamannah Bhatia and Rashmika Mandanna, the event wowed everyone. After the conclusion of the performances, the captains of GT (Hardik Pandya) and CSK (MS Dhoni) went to the stage for a picture with the IPL trophy and the performers. It is during that time, Arijit Singh bowed down and touched Dhoni’s feet. Now, the videos of the moment have taken over Twitter and prompted people to post different comments - so much so that the names of both the cricketer and the singer are trending on the microblogging site.
