Taking to Instagram, Mridul Gupta shared a video reflecting on the realities faced by jobseekers, including experienced professionals struggling to secure even entry-level opportunities.

"Trust me when I say this, guys: this is the worst economy to hate your job. If you're someone who wakes up every day annoyed that you have to go to work, have you seen what's happening outside? People are sending 50, 100, even 200 applications per day and not hearing back. People with years of experience are getting rejected for entry-level roles," Gupta said in the video.
She acknowledged that people do not necessarily have to enjoy their work, but urged employees to consider the challenges being faced by those actively looking for jobs before complaining about having to start another workday.
"If you hate your job, that's completely fine—a lot of people do. But before you spend your morning complaining having to log in, remember, a lot of people out there are refreshing their inbox every second just to receive an interview invitation. You don't have to love your job, but in a market like this, having one is still something to be grateful for," she added.
The message highlights a familiar tension for many professionals: feeling dissatisfied in an existing role while also recognising that changing jobs may not be easy in a competitive market.
