"Though the basic style of the programme remains the same as was in Hindi Nach Baliye, we have made some changes to make it more interesting," Atul Ketkar, Programming Head of the channel said.

In the Marathi version of the dance show, while one of the partners would be a celebrity, the other one would be a commoner handpicked by them through auditions. This would make the competition and show more interesting and challenging, he said.

The auditions for the same would be held at Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Mumbai, Pune, Amravati, Thane, Nashik, and Ratnagiri on October 2 and 3, he said, adding the show will go on air by October end.

Actors including Rujuta Deshmukh, Shweta Shinde, Urmila Kanetkar, Pushkar Jog would be participating in the show. While the show would be hosted by noted actor Mrinal Kulkarni, the judges are yet to be finalised, Ketkar added.
