I am the only Parvati: Sonarika Bhadoria

Sonarika Bhadoria is feeling puzzled about the rumours of her being replaced in her TV show.

After reports of Sonarika Bhadoria being replaced in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev erupted, the buzz was that Pooja Bose will replace her. “But neither the channel nor the production house has been quoted nor have said so to me,” says Sonarika, who is really upset. “I am clueless as to why this is happening. Perhaps I have an enemy somewhere who is planting these false stories. These rumours have been doing the rounds since two-three months and they’re very upsetting,” she says.

When Sonarika enquired with the production guys, they told her that Pooja had been selected for Sita’s role in the upcoming Ramayan track in the show. Even though things were smooth on the sets, such reports appear and Sonarika is flummoxed about their origin.

Rumours were that the makers were tired of Sonarika’s tantrums. “If that was the case, why am I here shooting for the show, when my contract with the show ended last month? Why will they do so if they didn’t want me? If standing up for yourself is throwing tantrums then I don’t know what to say,” she says. Sonarika feels that when the contract is up for renewal such rumours are a common norm. “I have spoken to the channel and my producers who have assured me that I am the only Parvati,” she says.
