Actor Urvashi Dholakia’s twin sons, Kshitij and Sagar, recently turned 22 and the happy mother took to Instagram to share a picture with them. Urvashi who became a mother at the age of 17, had to struggle a lot as a single mother. However, she is grateful that she had supportive people around her to get her through that time. “I am so humbled and thankful to everyone who has supported me during that time. I am very thankful to God that I have been able to take care of my family well,” she says. Much like her, her sons are also drawn to showbiz and assisted director Sajid Khan on his film Humshakals (2014). They plan to act one day, as well.

The actor says that while the twins are grown up and even taller than her, she still sees them as kids. “No matter how much they grow up, for me, they will always be my children. With kids, it’s a never ending process. Everyday I feel overwhelmed to watch them grow. I am such a proud mother,” she says.

The actor who shot to fame with roles in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii, and Kahiin To Hoga, is now working in a fantasy television series, Chandrakanta. However unlike other actors who are bothered about TRPs, she says that TRP ratings don’t bother her anymore. “I have been in this industry since so long and have seen very high TRP ratings with my shows. So, I am not bothered anymore about this. Now, all I am interested in is my acting, nothing else,” says Uravshi, who won reality show Bigg Boss 6.
