‘Angry over CAA, NRC’: IIT graduate who attacked Gorakhnath Temple ‘confesses’

A video is now going viral of Ahmad Murtaza Abbasi, the 29-year-old IIT graduate who breached security and attacked cops with a machete at Gorakhnath Temple on April 3. In the video, Abbasi can be allegedly heard justifying the attack and blaming the government for CAA-NRC protests and Karnataka Hijab row. In the video, Abbasi can be heard conversing with alleged policemen and the video appears to be of the day the incident took place, when Abbasi was taken to hospital later. The video has not been verified by Uttar Pradesh government officials and police. Watch this video for more details.
