The ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine is increasingly becoming an unpopular war for Putin-led Russia as it stands isolated globally and faces severe sanctions from the West. China is the only P-5 nation which has not condemned Russia and instead blamed the United States for the ongoing situation in Ukraine. However China has not endorsed Putin overtly for his Ukraine move but has come up with a very calculated response to the situation as it apparently does not want to harm its business ties with the West.
