China's Alibaba selling Putin's 'new' rocket-launching robot dog? | Explained

Russia introduced the M-81 robot-dog, armed with an RPG-26 anti-tank rocket launcher. Black fabric Ninja costume, the robot showed off its moves at the Russian Army Expo. Robot demonstrated the ability to bend, turn, move forward & backward; and lie down. Officials said the robot-dog can shoot, transport weapons & perform reconnaissance. Developers claimed reliance on bionics, mechanics typical of the animal kingdom. Subject of attention - Robotic dog's 'eyes', dimensions & location of optical sensors. The dog bears a striking resemblance to the easily available Chinese-made Go1 robot. The Go1 is currently being sold on china's unitree robotics website and also on Alibaba.
