Two farmers committed suicide after being under pressure due to loans. In Maharashtra’s Akola city, a debt-ridden farmer, identified as Jaiprakash Kharole (35), allegedly committed suicide by consuming poison. According to police officials, a suicide note was found in the pocket of the deceased farmer, which said he was taking this extreme step due to mounting debts. Meanwhile, another farmer, identified as Kaleshwar Mahto, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Ranchi due to non-payments of loan.
