Clashes at Sri Lankan President's home as nation battles economic meltdown

Curfew in Sri Lankan capital Colombo - Clashes after protesters try to storm president's residence. Sri Lanka declared an economic emergency in September; after a steep fall in currency value. Protesters clashed with the cops outside the president's residence, yelled anti-inflation slogans. Tear gas & water cannons were reportedly used after the protesters breached the barricades & pelted stones.
