Amid Covid lockdowns in various states of the country, incidents of high handedness by government officials or police personnel are coming to light one after the other. In Chattisgarh's Surajpur, an IAS officer slapped a man for violating lockdown rules. In Madhya Pradesh's Shahajpur, the ADM slapped a footwear vendor for allegedly opening shop during lockdown. And, in Madhya Pradesh's Sagar, police officers slapped a woman for not wearing a mask.
