IMA prez demands action after Assam doctor attacked over Covid patient’s death

Indian Medical Association (IMA) president Dr JA Jayalal said the medical body was ‘saddened and anguished’ over the mob attack on a doctor in Assam’s Hojai. IMA urged Centre to do something to ‘save the morale and health of doctors’. Doctors at Guwahati Medical College & Hospital staged a protest over the incident. A doctor in Assam’s Hojai was thrashed by mob at a Covid Care Centre on June. The incident took place allegedly after a Covid patient died during treatment. Watch the full video for more.
