Bollywood nightingale turns 78

The nightingale of Bollywood, Lata Mangeshkar celebrates her 78th birthday on Friday. Lata Mangeshkar was born to Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar a classical singer and theatre actor and Shudhhamati on September 28, 1929. She has won several awards and honors, including Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, Dada Saheb Phalke Award, Bharat Ratna and three National Film Awards.
