Designers lobby to merge the two split fashion groups

Indian fashion designers said that they are lobbying hard to merge the two split-fashion entities. Lakme Fashion Week and The Fashion Design Council of India had branched out way back in 2006 after they failed to agree over sponsorship issues. India's top designers and a troop of top models are taking part in the country's premier fashion event the 'Wills India Fashion Week' in New Delhi.
