As BJP and Congress lock horns over breach in PM Modi's security, farmers have explained their side of the story. Key Punjab farm leader Surjit Singh Phool stated that farmers thought the police were bluffing, they assumed it was a ploy to ensure smooth passage for buses packed with BJP supporters. The farm leader also said that they refused to budge as they saw regular traffic movement on the road.
