Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has reportedly criticised Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu for publicly opposing the establishment of an independent Palestinian state after the war in Gaza ends. “Without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital on the borders of 1967, there will be no security and stability in the region,” the Palestinian President’s spokesperson said.
