Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi has warned Türkiye and Pakistan against joining Saudi Arabia in the escalating Yemen conflict. In a September 21 speech, he accused Riyadh of seeking outside military support and claimed Saudi Arabia had carried out 760 airstrikes. Al-Houthi also accused the United States of supporting Saudi Arabia and said Washington was studying escalation options. He reiterated the Houthis’ support for the Palestinian cause and demanded an end to what he described as Saudi aggression and the blockade of Yemen. His remarks come amid renewed Saudi-Houthi fighting and growing regional involvement. Pakistan has publicly condemned Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia.
